1. Respect and Etiquette

  • Be Respectful: Treat all members with respect, both in discussions and interactions. Personal attacks, harassment, and hate speech will not be tolerated.
  • No Flaming or Trolling: Engaging in flame wars, spamming, or deliberately trying to provoke others is prohibited.
  • Constructive Criticism: If you have a critique, ensure it’s constructive and aimed at helping others improve, not just criticizing for the sake of it.

2. Content and Post Guidelines

  • Stay On-Topic: Keep all posts relevant to the topic at hand. Off-topic posts, spam, or irrelevant content will be removed.
  • Use Descriptive Titles: When creating a thread, use a clear and relevant title that reflects the content of the post.
  • No Excessive Self-Promotion: While promoting your personal content or server is allowed in designated sections, excessive self-promotion is discouraged. Keep it relevant and respectful.

3. Language and Tone

  • Use Appropriate Language: Offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated in any part of the forum.
  • Keep It Civil: We expect members to engage with a friendly tone, even when discussing disagreements. No hate speech, discriminatory comments, or offensive content.

4. Spamming and Flooding

  • No Spam: Do not flood the forum with repetitive messages, links, or any irrelevant content.
  • No Excessive Bumping: Bumping threads excessively or inappropriately to get attention is not allowed. Please wait at least 24 hours before bumping a thread.

5. Personal Information

  • Respect Privacy: Do not share personal information (yours or others’) without consent. This includes addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or any sensitive data.
  • Impersonation is Forbidden: Do not impersonate another user, staff member, or any official entity associated with the server or forum.

6. Advertising and External Links

  • Advertising: Advertising other communities, services, or products is allowed only in designated areas, if at all. Be mindful of the context.
  • External Links: When sharing links, ensure they are safe, relevant, and trustworthy. Do not share harmful, phishing, or inappropriate websites.

7. Reporting Issues

  • Report Inappropriate Behavior: If you encounter any rule-breaking or inappropriate behavior, use the "Report" feature to notify staff. Do not engage in public arguments or flame wars.
  • Don’t Spam Reports: Only report issues that violate forum rules or server guidelines. Excessive or false reports will be penalized.

8. Signature and Avatar Guidelines

  • Appropriate Signatures and Avatars: Your signature and avatar must adhere to the community guidelines. Inappropriate, offensive, or sexually explicit content will not be allowed.
  • Size Limits: Keep the size of your signature and avatar within reasonable limits to ensure the forum’s layout remains clean and user-friendly.

9. Staff Authority

  • Staff Decisions Are Final: The staff team has the final say in all forum moderation decisions. If you disagree with a decision, contact the staff member privately to discuss.
  • Follow Moderator Instructions: Always listen to and respect the instructions of forum moderators and administrators.

10. No Piracy or Illegal Content

  • No Piracy or Cracked Software: Discussing or promoting pirated content, illegal software, or any form of illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
  • Follow All Laws: Ensure your content complies with all applicable laws, including copyright laws.

11. Posting Sensitive Content

  • Content Warnings: If your post contains sensitive or triggering material (violence, graphic content, etc.), please include a warning at the beginning of your post.
  • No NSFW Content: Any explicit or sexually suggestive content, images, or discussions are strictly prohibited.

Consequences for Breaking Rules

  • Warnings: First-time offenders may receive a warning or temporary post suspension.
  • Temporary Ban: Repeated violations of forum rules can lead to temporary bans.
  • Permanent Ban: Severe or continuous rule-breaking may result in a permanent ban from the forum.

Additional Notes

  • These forum rules apply to all users, regardless of their role in the community (e.g., players, moderators, administrators).
  • Forum rules may be updated periodically. Make sure to check for changes regularly.
