General Rules
- Respect All Players:
- Treat all players with respect, both IC (in-character) and OOC (out-of-character).
- Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech is strictly prohibited.
- Use Voice Chat Properly:
- Voice chat should be used for in-character communication. Out-of-character (OOC) chat should only be used in designated OOC spaces or channels.
- Keep voice chat clear and respectful. Avoid excessive noise, spamming, or using inappropriate language.
- No Cheating or Exploiting:
- Cheating, exploiting, or using any third-party mods or hacks to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
- Any form of glitching, map exploits, or bugs must be reported to admins and not abused.
Roleplay Rules
- Stay In-Character (IC):
- Always stay in-character while playing. Do not break character unless in an OOC situation (e.g., server issues, real-life emergencies).
- If you are unsure of the context or roleplay scenario, ask others for guidance before proceeding.
- No Powergaming:
- Powergaming is when you force actions or outcomes onto other players without their consent (e.g., killing someone instantly or forcing them into a situation).
- Ensure that all actions in roleplay are fair and within reason. Consent should be mutual when interacting with others in an RP context.
- No Metagaming:
- Metagaming is using out-of-character knowledge to affect in-character actions. For example, using OOC knowledge of someone’s location or plans for your own benefit.
- Only use information your character would logically know in-character.
- FailRP:
- FailRP occurs when a player does not act realistically or logically in the context of the roleplay (e.g., acting like a character who is clearly injured in a way that would prevent them from continuing to act).
- Always roleplay in a manner that stays true to your character and the world.
- No RDM (Random Deathmatch):
- Killing other players for no reason is prohibited. You must have a valid in-character reason for killing another player.
- If you’re involved in a robbery, gang war, or any dangerous situation, ensure the RP situation justifies the use of lethal force.
- No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch):
- Running over or attempting to harm players with a vehicle without a roleplay reason is prohibited.
- You must have a valid in-character reason for running over someone with a vehicle.
Combat and Crime Rules
- No Random Arresting:
- Law enforcement should not arrest players without a valid RP reason. You must have evidence or a reasonable cause for arresting someone.
- Avoid abusing powers as law enforcement to disrupt roleplay or arrest players without justification.
- Roleplay Police Interactions:
- As a police officer, you must roleplay traffic stops, arrests, and interrogations in a realistic manner.
- You should not use excessive force unless the situation calls for it, and must follow proper legal procedures.
- No Cop Baiting or Troll RP:
- Do not purposely provoke or "bait" law enforcement or emergency services into unnecessary conflicts for the sake of entertainment.
- Roleplay must be engaging and immersive, not for the purpose of trolling or ruining the experience for others.
- Realistic Weapon Use:
- Weapons should be used only in situations where it makes sense within the roleplay (e.g., for self-defense, during criminal activity, etc.).
- Excessive or unrealistic use of weapons (e.g., randomly pulling out a gun in a non-threatening situation) is forbidden.
Vehicle and Property Rules
- Respect Property Rights:
- Do not steal, damage, or vandalize others' vehicles or properties without a valid reason or roleplay justification.
- If you rob a store or break into a property, roleplay it thoroughly and make sure your actions make sense within the context.
- Vehicle Theft:
- Only steal vehicles if it makes sense within your character’s role. Don’t randomly steal cars for no reason.
- If a vehicle is stolen, ensure the owner has a fair chance to react or defend their property.
